About the program
Sprout's Reading World delivers personalized, gamified daily reading sessions for neurodiverse learners ages 8 to 10. Every session follows explicit Orton-Gillingham methodology, adapted in real time to where your child is that day.
It works as a standalone program or alongside an SLP, reading specialist, or tutor. Every session reinforces the structured literacy approach their specialist is already using.

Why it works
Their brain just learns to read differently; and most reading programs weren't built for that. Think of Sprout's Reading World as having a trained reading expert at home every day, specially designed for kids who learn differently. Every session is built around how your child actually learns to read.

Sprout starts at the mechanics: teaching the foundational building blocks of how reading actually works, in the explicit, sequential order that kids with dyslexia need to make real progress.

The most researched approach for kids who struggle with reading. Systematic, multisensory, no shortcuts. Sprout follows it throughout every session.

Sprout's voice AI is tuned specifically to how kids with dyslexia sound when they're sounding out words and responds in the moment based on accuracy, tone, and how your child is feeling.

Sprout gives your child consistent, high-quality practice on the days in between so the skills their specialist is building actually have a chance to stick.
Every design decision was made with neurodiverse learners specifically in mind: the pacing, the feedback, the game narrative, and the voice responses.

Meet Sprout, a robot companion that grows alongside your child as they learn, unlocking new growth stages as they progress.

Questions
Traditional one-on-one tutoring from a reading expert costs $100 to $200 per hour. Sprout's Reading World delivers daily structured sessions at a fraction of that cost. This summer we're making Sprout's Reading World available for only $49/month for the first 2 months — after that, pricing will go up.
Today, Sprout's Reading World is designed for rising 3rd and 4th graders, ages ~8-10 years old. Sprout Labs also provides 1:1 virtual Orton-Gillingham tutoring for children age 4 through 12 (preK through 6th grade). If you're unsure whether your child is the right fit, our team can help you figure that out in a quick conversation.
Yes, and we can say that with confidence because we have seen it work, over and over again, across every format we offer. 100% of the children we have worked with have demonstrated measurable progress on the critical foundational reading skills. Dyslexia does not mean your child cannot learn to read. It means your child needs the right approach, the right consistency, and the right support.
That depends on where your child is in their journey, and we will always be honest with you about that. For some children, Sprout's Reading World is a powerful standalone tool. For others, it works best alongside a tutor or reading specialist. If your child is already working with a specialist, Sprout does not compete with that relationship. It reinforces it. Your specialist sets the direction. Sprout makes sure your child is practicing in between.
Sprout Labs families start to see progress within a few weeks. Consistency is the biggest factor — daily practice is proven to be 15x more effective than occasional sessions, and even 15 to 20 minutes a day adds up fast. Our system is always assessing, collecting data at every point in every lesson so the program is continuously responsive to exactly where your child is.
